Additional Information

We were introduced to our Honduran growers through a joint relationship of Vournas Coffee and Growers First.  Since this time, it has quickly become one of our most popular coffees we offer.  The Coffee farmers in the Comayagua region of Honduras have formed a cooperative knows the Cultivadores de Reino or as known in English, “Kingdom Growers.”  Through our relationship with Vournas coffee we have been able to make this direct trade/relationship coffee available to our customers and will continue as long as it stays available to us.  Many do not realize that Honduras is one of the most violent countries in the world and it’s through partnerships like this, we can begin to transform communities and affect the lives of rural coffee growers.  Vournas pays a premium to these growers and has helped establish facilities such as a VCT training office in Honduras which teaches farmers about cupping and quality control at the farm level and basic needs such as desks for school children.

Cupping Notes: Sweet aroma that draws you in, with a well balanced acidity, sweet citrus flavors, layers of milk chocolate that has a medium body and creamy finish.
