Ethiopia, the birth place of coffee can be one of the most challenging but rewarding countries to source coffee from.  We partner with Dominion Coffee Importers and Vournas coffee to bring this unique coffee to our roasters.  The coffee is grow in one of the most premium growing districts in Ethiopia, Kochere, and is produced by 480 individual growers who bring their coffee to the Mekuriya Mergiya processing plant for processing.  The coffee grown by these individual growers produces a coffee that is medium in body, sweet layers of blackberry and strawberry.

Dominion Coffee Importers have been working in Ethiopia for over a decade building relationships with the growers and using coffee as a tool to support transformational change.  They do this through community health projects and church planting through a non-profit they have established known as the New Covenant Foundation.  Vournas, a leader in specialty coffee and working with growers is not only focused on quality coffee but also providing premiums to growers they have established long term relationships with in places such as Honduras, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Uganda and more.  Truly a great coffee with a great cause!
